YoungEducation delivers Alternative Provision in the home, at our Stevenage tuition centre and online across Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties. Every tutor and mentor is matched to the young person in front of them, and every placement is overseen by a qualified teacher.
For pupils out of school through exclusion, anxiety, SEMH or SEND needs, we build a timetable that restores routine, rebuilds confidence and keeps learning moving forward — at a pace that works for them.

How we work
Every placement begins with a conversation rather than a form. We listen to the young person, the family and the referring school or authority before we recommend anything at all.
An education consultant then carries out a baseline assessment, identifies the gaps and the barriers, and matches a tutor on subject expertise and personality in equal measure.
From there we write an individual learning plan with clear, measurable targets, and report on engagement, attendance and progress after every single session.
Our tutors are trauma-informed and endlessly patient. They build trust first and teach second, because that order is what makes the learning stick.

Lessons draw on a quality-assured bank of schemes of work, diagnostic assessments and exam-board-aligned materials for English, Maths, Science and Functional Skills — so the standard of provision stays the same whether a young person is learning at home, at our centre or online.
